We've re-designed our sheets for softer clothes and less static, but still make them with 97% plant-based ingredients, because we believe it's a great way to care for your family.
They're fragrance free, hypoallergenic, and dermatologist tested.
We believe you deserve to know what's in the products you buy, so we list our ingredients right on the package.
Seventh Generation Free and Clear fabric softener dryer sheets are gluten-free, cruelty-free, and a USDA-certified biobased product.
Usage
Use one fabric sheet for a normal-sized load of laundry. Separate sheet using perforation to help reduce the risk of blocking your dryer’s vent. Discard the dryer sheet after using.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. If product gets into eyes, flush with water. If swallowed, drink plenty of water.
Warning: Not intended to be used on children’s sleepwear or any garments specifically labeled as flame-resistant as the product may reduce flame resistance. Fabric softeners may increase the fabric’s flammability. Avoid use on extra-fluffy, cotton-based fabrics like fleece, flannel, and terrycloth.
How do dryer sheets work?
Dryer sheets, like the name implies, are added during the drying cycle. They are coated with stearic acid, which melts from the heat of the dryer and coats clothes to make them feel softer, reduce static, and infuse them with a fresh scent.
Dryer sheets may also stain clothes if not used properly. To avoid staining, fill your dryer with clean, wet clothes and place the dryer sheet on top. Also, avoid overfilling the dryer when using dryer sheets.
When should fabric softeners not be used?
Never use any fabric softener when washing these items:
- Microfiber clothes: Using softeners may damage the fabric.
- Athletic wear: Softeners may reduce the fabric’s ability to “wick away” sweat.
- Children’s clothing: Fabric softeners will reduce the flame-resistant properties of children’s clothing (read Usage above)
